Formation
The IoEMC was formed with the sole intention of developing best practice/s across the Executive Coaching Industry. It does not presume to be a regulatory body for the Executive Coaching Industry, nor does it claim to be one for the wider coaching community. It is purely a membership operated association/Institute with very high standards. Whereby, all policies and procedures together with the ongoing future development of the IoEMC is decided and governed directly by its membership through the election of an Executive Council.
Membership Code of Ethics
The Institute of Executive Master Coaches is committed to maintaining the highest standard of practice within the Executive Coaching Industry.
This Code sets out the essential elements of sound ethical practice. For the purposes of this code the person receiving coaching is referred to as the client.
All Clients should expect an above high standard of practice from an IoEMC member. To ensure that this is achieved Executive Coaches must commit to operate in accordance with the Institutes Code of Ethics and Good Practice for ethical, competent and effective Executive Coaching provision.

If you have a complaint about one of our members please make contact with us by clicking this Executive Council link, explaining the situation in as much detail as possible and we will respond immediately .

We shall be delighted to help you directly by acting as an Independent Arbitrator/advisor in all situations.

If after investigation we find that a member has not conducted themselves in accordance with our professional code of ethics or the Institutes policies and procedures, the coach will either be suspended or indeed may be excluded from membership completely.
